Salad in a Jar!
Another amazing picnic idea! Also great for work or school lunches. As long as your dressing doesn’t touch the lettuce, these salads will stay fresh in the fridge for 4 or 5 days!

Adjusting to a new place is tough. Reading books and surrounding myself with art is the best way to get comfortable.
I feel like my work is building up to something and i’m excited to see where it goes. It was a lot of fun making such a detailed space for one of my ladies. I need her rad outfit and poster. If I were to have a surf/ rockabilly band it’d definitely be called “Oh hell yeah!”

Today I was stopped by a photographer from The Guardian and asked to pose for their fashion section! Then came home to an e-mail from Cyberdog :D
O.o this face. love this face! :D
“Mom, listen, I haven’t been together with Topanga for 22 years, but we have been together for 16. That’s a lot longer than most couples have been together. I mean, when we were born, you told me that we used to take walks in our strollers together around the block. When we were two, we were best friends. I mean, I knew everything about this girl. I knew her favorite color, her favorite food. Then we became six, Eric made fun of me because it wasn’t cool to have a best friend that was a girl or even know a girl. So for the next seven years I threw dirt at her. I like to call those “the lost years”. Then when I was thirteen, mom, she put me up against my locker and she kissed me. I mean, she gave me my first kiss. She taught me how to dance. She always was talking about these crazy things and I never understood a word she said. All I understood was that she was the girl I sat up every night thinking about, and when I’m with her, I feel happy to be alive. Like I can do anything. Even talk to you like this. So that’s, that’s what I think is love, mom. When I’m better because she’s here.” - Cory Matthews, Boy Meets World
thank you lord for tgif. i grew up with this show. even had “aliens for breakfast” taped on vhs.
was there ever an episode of ‘aliens for breakfast’ that featured the main character slowly turning blue (or some other color?) i have weird memories of this happening on some tv show and that seems familiar..
Did you know….?
(3 in one:) “Worthless” is considered to be one of Disney’s darkest songs(1), “Hellfire” being another one(2). Halfway through filming, Donald Kushner wanted the “Worthless” scene to be cut from the film too, due to one of the cars driving into a crusher on purpose, using a suicide reference. For unknown reasons, the scene was left in the film(3).Ah the good old days of screwed up kids’ movies.
the whole junkyard scene scared the holy christ out of me when I was little because of the magnet. for some reason when I was little, I was convinced that it was actually a mother and she was angry at Toaster and friends because she thought they had hurt her baby??????????
either way these movies are emotionally scarring
but really really good
also a joHN LASSETER FILM AS WELL HEEStaple of my childhood, right here. It was one of my favorite songs and yeah, I didn’t realize how morbid it was (for a kid’s movie) until I was older. The reservation truck and the hearse in particular:
“I took a man to a graveyard. I beg your pardon, it’s quite hard enough just living with the stuff I have learned.”
THIS WHOLE MOVIE holy shit, so dark. one of my faves i watched over and over and over
<3 brave little toaster. so many memorable scenes..
